Last night we joined our Mended Little Hearts of Tulsa group at the first Bishop Kelly football game. Mended Little Hearts and the Bishop Kelly football team have partnered together to bring awareness of Congenital Heart Disease to the community. Hope along with all the other heart kids each walked out on the field at half time with a player. Each childs name and age were announced as they walked on the field. I was so proud to have Hope be a part of this. She is the toughest little person I know... along side all of the other precious children she walked with. What an experience as well for the players. Their coaches as well as families must be so proud of them. MLH will continue to work with the BK football team through out the year. What a great group of young men. We look forward to it.

I just added a video, with all of the pictures... I think I will download all of the pictures to a CD, I will bring you a copy. You have to check out the video, there are some PRECIOUS ones of Hope!
What a beautiful and inspirational blogsite! I am on the lookout for new ways to bring awareness to CHD and MLH, and the football game is a great idea. Thanks for the inspiration!
